About The Humanities Clinic - Our Story
The Humanities Clinic was founded to address students’ challenges in the steep learning curve of the Humanities subjects both at the O Levels and A Levels syllabus. Over years of teaching, we realised that there have been growing learning humps created by uninspired, dry and rote learning styles taught in schools. Many students find Humanities subjects difficult to absorb as it is content heavy, dull and the skills needed to answer questions effectively were not sufficiently developed.
This is a serious issue as students’ success in the Humanities subjects can make or break their dream JC, Polytechnic or University choices. Moreover, mastering the Humanities subjects develops skills and knowledge required in higher education and the working world.
Through many years of teaching, curriculum development and exam preparations, we have created the most efficient learning path combining:
Engaging and dynamic lessons
Exam-targeted step-by-step strategies
Concise notes
Links between syllabus content and real world
We found that this is the most impactful way to enhance a student's learning effectiveness and knowledge absorption.
